Düsseldorf is a city where all the negotiations and modernity take place. Descubride con esta visita guiada los secretos que alberga su centro histórico y los bonitos edificios que se esconden entre sus callejuelas.
We will meet at the indicated time next to the Central Station to begin this guided tour. For two hours we will tour the most emblematic places in the historic center of Düsseldorf, a great metropolis that at its heart houses churches and buildings that managed to survive the bombings of World War II.
We will walk to the Königsallee street, famous for its many luxury shops and the beautiful canal that runs along it. Afterwards, we will approach the banks of the Rhine River as we walk towards the old part of the city.
We will pass by the equestrian statue of Jan Wellem, located in Markplatz square, where the Town Hall is located. While we talk about the history of Düsseldorf, we will also comment on the importance of Carnival in this German city.
We will continue visiting the Burgplatz square, one of the most charming corners of this city. There we will admire the Palace Tower or 'Schlossturm', a 33-meter-high structure. Near this point we will also come across the church of San Lamberto. This temple, from the 14th century, houses the relics of Saint Apollinaris, the patron saint of Düsseldorf.
We will end the tour outside the Opera building after a two-hour tour.
