At the indicated time we will meet very close to the Cathedral of Saint Bartholomew, which in the 18th century received the title of “imperial church” for being the scene of the coronation of the Germanic emperors. There we will begin our guided tour of the most emblematic places in Frankfurt, the financial capital of the European Union. In front of Frankfurt City Hall we will tell you how the city has evolved and, of course, what its origins were. To do this, we will walk through the old town, where its pastel-colored half-timbered houses will especially catch your attention. Next, we will head towards St. Paul's Church, chosen as the seat of the Frankfurt Parliament in the mid-19th century for its oval shape. We will continue the visit through the city's financial district, where we will come across impressive skyscrapers. Did you know that this area is known as Mainhattan? There is the European Central Bank, the financial headquarters of the European Union, at whose entrance you can see the giant euro symbol. You will love it!
