Guided tour of Heidelberg

On this guided tour of Heidelberg we will discover the main tourist attractions of this beautiful German city. You will fall in love with its monuments next to the Neckar River.

At the indicated time we will meet at the Heidelberg train station and begin a guided tour to discover one of the most romantic cities in Germany.

We will start walking from the station to the Charles Theodore Bridge, the oldest in Heidelberg. We will admire the Neckar River and see one of the most special sculptures in the city, the Heidelberg monkey. Did you know that it has served as an inspiration to poets and artists throughout history? It will surprise you!

From there, we will cross the Charles Gate, originally called Karlstor. This triumphal arch from the 18th century hides an incredible story that we will reveal to you throughout the tour. In addition, we will go to Karlsplatz to see places such as the Palais Boisserée or the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences.

To conclude the guided tour of Heidelberg, we will review the student history of the town. To do this, we will visit two of its oldest student pubs.
