Lyon is known for its two hills, the Croix-Rousse and the Fourvière. On this visit we will enter the first of them, where the most Bohemian neighborhood of this city is located. After meeting at the Place de la Comédie at 5:00 p.m., we will start a walking tour to the Croix-Rousse. We will begin to talk about the great importance that this place had for the city of Lyon in the 18th century. A track. It is known as the "hill that works". Ascending by slopes and stairs little by little we will see a perfect panoramic of the center of Lyon. Of course, we will stop as many times as necessary to get some air and, above all, take some pictures.
Walking through the neighborhood we will enter some traboules, passages that connect different streets through the courtyards of the buildings. We will visit the Passage Thiaffait where you will find several craft workshops, art galleries and fashion stores.
We will contemplate the ruins of the Roman amphitheater of the Three Galias, of more than 2,000 years of history. You will not miss a visit to the famous Mur des Canuts, an urban mural that decorates the facade of a building creating an incredible perspective game. It will surprise you!
